Advanced Series Pastel Easel Easel face can be tilted slightly forward - allowing pastel dust to fall from painting surface. Easel (12.25 x 15.75) and adjustable panel holder are made of tough ABS material (not wood which can warp or crack). Easel has standard 1/4" 20 thread mount to fit a photo tripod. Our vertical mount design eliminates the 'top-heavy rocking' that can occur in other tripod/pochade box set-ups. The 'Advanced Series' Pastel Easel attaches easily to the included SUNPAK 6601ut Tripod-a full size medium duty version with geared center column, locking metal leg braces.Tripod closes to 22.6" and weighs just 3.25 lbs.(Extra quick-disconnect shoe included.)Advanced Series Pastel Palette TrayThis innovative system is lightweight, functional and truly unique. Thermoformed from .25" ABS and PVC, it will securely hold over 140 pastels! Tray is divided into 6 equal spaces and padded with "Memory Foam". This special foam is perfect for cushioning those expensive pastels. MEMORY FOAM is also washable and makes it easy to keep your pastels clean and fresh. A padded panel of PVC lays on top of your pastels and the black PVC cover slides over it to secure them. Turn the cover over , slide it underneath the tray, and the cover becomes a work shelf for selected pastels.This product is the perfect system for keeping your pastels secure, while traveling or working in the studio.
